Sean Connery's ongoing feud with his Manhattan neighbor, Burton Sultan, escalated this morning when Sultan called police to complain that Connery's construction crew left over 20 pieces of scaffolding in his backyard, TMZ reports.
Sultan wasn't there when police arrived, so no action was taken.
These two neighbors from hell have been suing each other over their Upper East Side townhouse for years. Connery wants the townhouse all to himself and has been doing whatever it takes to get Sultan to move, according to TMZ.
Connery's lawyer, Robert Lynn, said in a letter to Connery's wife: "I think if we tie him (Sultan) up in several lawsuits, hopefully this will either permanently subdue him, or drive him out of the building." Apparently the Connerys were prepared to pay Sultan $1 million but he wanted $2 million. So the feud goes on.
Hello, screenwriters! Here's a movie of the week.
