Amy Winehouse immortalized in wax at Madame Tussaud's
POSTED July 23, 7:36 AM

Amy Winehouse is looking better today than she has in the past year — if you see her at Madame Tussaud's in London. Papa Mitch Winehouse took the first look at the unveiling today and was duly impressed.

"It captures her. Totally," he told the BBC. "But she's not as skinny anymore. She's put on quite a lot of weight."

(That's a relief.)

Amy's mum, Janice Winehouse, was also on hand at the museum. The proud parents, who have supported their daughter through all of her troubles, said they felt honored that she was chosen to be sculpted for the museum.

"It's the highest accolade," Mitch said.

Well, that and a few Grammy awards.
