Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is back in rehab after a widely reported spree with a young cocktail waitress.
"Following Ronnie's continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab," his rep confirmed today. "His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."
Yesterday the Daily News reported that Wood's wife of 23 years, Jo Wood, was leaving him after he had "been holed up in his Irish country house" for at least a week with Ekaterina Ivanova, an 18-year-old barmaid he met after the premiere of "Shine a Light," the Martin Scorsese-directed documentary about the Rolling Stones.
And to make matters worse, rumors have spread that Ronnie did a nude painting of Ekaterina titled Photography Nude II. The painting is reportedly hanging in a Dublin gallery and priced at $16,000.
Welcome back to the wonderful world of sobriety, Ronnie.
