Madonna's rep is denying reports (we assume that includes ours) that the almost-50 singer is having an affair with 32-year-old Yankee Alex Rodriguez (also married). Oh yeah, she says her marriage to Guy Ritchie is not on the rocks either.
"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving)," Liz Rosenberg told People. "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."
Never mind that both of them are said to have been consulting with famous divorce lawyers.
And about those little late-night staycations with A-Rod, witnessed by the doormen who let him in?
"Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary," Rosenberg says. "They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There's really not anything to comment on beyond that."
Yeah, right. And Sienna Miller is just friends with Balthazar Getty.
Sorry Madge, we're going with the doormen's story. And good luck with that happy marriage.
