Video: Hannah Montana ferris wheel accident

A freak Ferris wheel accident on the set of the new "Hannah Montana" movie injured several extras yesterday. Miley Cyrus had just finished shooting a scene on a stage next to the Ferris wheel when a piece of lighting equipment was blown into the ride full of people on the Tennessee film set.

Injured extras were taken to a nearby local hospital and treated for minor injuries, but they weren't the only ones who were hurt or scared spitless.

i was there at the accident and my mom and brother were the ones in the ferris wheel car that was hit. it was horrible but thank God they were ok. it was 3 inches from completely crushing my family. hope everyone else is ok [Posted by: Jessica]

Man, I was there during the accident, waiting in line, about to get on the ferris wheel.
The corner of the film screen got inches away from hitting a little boy, like right in the head.
So, regardless of whether or not Miley herself was injured, it was scary, and anyone who saw the little boys face during the ordeal would agree. [Posted by: Kyle]
