Liz Barrett is an award-winning writer whose work has been internationally syndicated by the New York Times. She has been a special guest on National Public Radio.
New mom Nicole Richie is going back to work. She's set to guest star on NBC's offbeat comedy "Chuck," which begins its second season on September 29. Reuters reports that Nicole will play a snarky, spiteful girl who went to school with Chuck's CIA handler, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), and has to confront her at their 10-year high school reunion.
Zachary Levi stars as Chuck, a geek who becomes an unwitting counterterrorism operative.
Executive producer Josh Schwartz said, "Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny. This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It's going to be really fun."
Her past TV credits include, of course, a starring role alongside then-BFF Paris Hilton in "The Simple Life" plus guest spots on "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" and "American Dreams."
