    James McAvoy: 'I'd rather be beaten than kiss Angelina Jolie'

    Scottish actor James McAvoy told Moviefone.com he was so uncomfortable kissing sexy Angelina Jolie in new movie "Wanted" that he preferred to be beaten up by her in fight scenes.

    "I'm always nervous about doing the kissing scenes," said McAvoy.  "They're never comfortable, they're always kind of weird, they're not enjoyable, do you know what I mean?"

    In the film, McAvoy plays an office worker who becomes an assassin and Jolie plays the ace hitwoman who teaches him the tricks of the trade. In real life, both of them are happily married — to other people. So big, wet lip clinches were nervewracking for him ... but he liked scrapping with her in the fight scenes.

    "Getting beaten up by her all the time is fine, that was fun. That's one of the reasons I did the job, is to do all those scenes."
