Charlize Theron brings her pashmina wherever she travels on her own because she's afraid of what might be lurking in dirty sheets in out-of-the-way hotels, according to Wenn.com.

The actress insists she loves to travel and experience the real world away from five star hotels, but she refuses to sleep anywhere grubby.

The Oscar winner explains, "I am spoiled. I get to stay in nice hotels. So when I have time to myself I like to get down and dirty. But I won't sleep on dirty sheets. I take a pashmina with me, to sleep on.

"I'd rather sleep in dirt than sleep in dirty sheets, because little things live there."

(Thanks for ruining our next trip to the outback.)
