According to the lawsuit filed in Stuart, Dion (through her Montreal corporation, Renlec) contracted Stofft in 2005 to come up with plans, construction documents and design development. He was to be paid $550,000, plus expenses. The court docs show Stofft resisted Dion's octagonal wishes for months. He flew twice to Montreal, at her expense, to convince her his way was best. In turn, Dion's people hired a design specialist to build a model of what she wanted.
"Again, Stofft rejected the directive, this time mocking both the model and the design and attacking them in a vulgar fashion," the complaint reads.
Doesn't that guy know you don't ever diss a diva?
