Eva Longoria cuts her hair and pads her butt

Next time you see Eva Longoria on "Desperate Housewives" she'll be wearing a short bob — and a fat suit.

Remember the flash-forward in the season finale? A plumpy, short-haired Gabby was chasing around a houseful of kids and looking like the fanciest night out she could imagine would be the early-bird special at Olive Garden.

"I wore a wig in the last episode," she told Entertainment Tonight, "and I didn't want to wear a wig this whole season, so I cut it. I thought, 'What a great excuse!'"

When the show returns this fall, it's still five years later, giving Eva permission to eat as much as she likes off-screen.
"I ate everything in sight!" she says. "Pasta pappardelle and pizza. Oh, Tony and I went crazy this summer."
She's also wearing a fat suit. As for her wardrobe? No more designer labels for Gabby!
"I think we shopped at K-mart for me this season," she says.

What a sad life. Eating and dressing like ordinary people. We can barely imagine.
