Maclaren USA, the stroller company, has announced a huge stroller recall as of this morning.  This recall will affect over 1 million strollers.  The recall comes as a result of a dozen reports that children's fingertips have actually been amputated when they put their hands into a side hinge.

11 different models are included in the recall.  Visit the company's website for more information at www.maclaren.us/recall or you can call (877) 688-2326.  You can also get information about the recall by visiting the Consumer Products Safety Commission website.

Affected strollers were sold as early as 1999 through November 2009 retailing for between $100 to $360.
