Moms looking for a balance between work and family, read this:

Many moms, whether in Charlotte or Tulsa, feel like they have to decide between spending time with their kids, or earning an income.  Finding a situation that allows women to do both fully can be challenging.

There are many companies out there that support working moms.  Working Mother magazine has released a list of the top 100 companies for working moms.  The magazine used five main criteria as the basis for its judgments: flexibility, leave time for new parents, child care, elder care and the number of women occupying top jobs.  Smart Money has compiled a list of the 10 best places to be a working mom.

There are even job search engines dedicated specifically to moms who are looking to strike a work/life balance.  Moms Corps is one such site that considers itself to be at the forefront of the flexible job market.

Still other moms are looking for an opportunity that allows them to be home with their kids full time, so a job outside the home is not desirable.  Work at home opportunities are a great fit for some moms, but they may not be for everyone.  There are different opportunities out there, and each mom must make her own determination if the opportunity is for her.  Internet Ceo Moms is one team that works together to help moms achieve their goals, working right from home.  Avon, Pampered Chef and Mary Kay are companies that have helped moms make money around their families' schedules for years.
