The Monsters did it again this weekend, sweeping three games against the Valencia Flyers at home in front of enthusiastic crowds. The scores were 6-3 on Friday, 4-1 on Saturday and 7-4 on Sunday. The Monsters improved their record to 16-0-1 and have yet to be beaten in regulation time. They continued to build their lead in the WSHL Western Division standings.
Unfortunately, I've been out of state since Friday and was not able to be present at the games, but you can bet that I've been keeping a close eye on the results and getting updates on the action from all kinds of sources. Everybody from my wife to players' parents (thanks Pat Coyle!) have been texting, emailing and Facebooking me info and I really appreciate all of it. I also appreciate Bob Martinez sending me photos of some of the action. Bob was out at Selland Arena on Saturday night and got some great shots of the guys wearing their special Halloween jerseys, so take a look and enjoy.
The Monsters are off this next weekend, so many of the players are getting to take a quick trip back home. They'll be back in action on the road November 20th and 21st against Long Beach and Valencia, respectively.
