Seriously. Actor Brad Pitt was in Tokyo Nov. 4, 2009 promoting the Asian release of the Quentin Tarantino film "Inglorious Basterds". Last week, he was in Hollywood, California and involved in a minor motorcycle accident in Los Angeles county while fleeing paparazzi. Both weeks, rumors that the celebrity leading man was actually on his way to see former bride Jennifer Aniston plagued the star. Fact or fiction accusations that Pitt has been secret shopping to woo back his old mate are unfounded; the only thing the biker is likely to be out cruising the streets for this week is a new two wheel toy to love, and his devotion to Angelina Jolie is not in question [at this time].

Capitalizing on the mishap and partner Angelina Jolie's sure worry, Pitt was more than happy to take Angie out for date night (after she flew in to lend support while he was mending from likely soreness after crashing into a parked car and then trying unsuccessfully to prevent the heavy bike from falling).
RUMOR BRAD PITT WRECKED MOTORCYCLE ON WAY TO SEE JENNIFER ANISTON
Rumors mills hoping to connect the hunk to any form of romantic liaison with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston put forward that the star was on his way to meet with Aniston when he took his spill. They say he was attempting to avoid reporters so Jolie would not find out that he was headed off to confront Aniston with his jealousy over her dating rock star playboy John Mayer.
Gossip Cop -- the tabloid rumor evaluation site says the claim Pitt was having yet another secret meeting with Jen is likely rubbish.

Also likely to be false -- that Jolie came to see Pitt post-accident out of raging jealousy and to stop him from re-uniting with his ex.

The real celebrity dish related to Brad's bash and crash is that now the star is bummed he wrecked what he claims was his favorite bike.
While in Tokyo, he says he's going to be looking for a replacement model to the one he banged up [although it is important to note that Pitt is rumored to have a growing collection of custom motorcycles already in his possession].
"I had a little mishap [in Los Angeles on Oct. 24, 2009]," Pitt told the Associated Press. "No injuries, except my ego. I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story. It was my favorite bike, so that is really sad."
HISTORY OF BRAD PITT ROMANCE AND TOKYO FLING
Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005 after four years of marriage. The male actor says he and Jolie may marry once gay rights legislation is passed (allowing equal rights to everyone under the law when it comes to choosing lifestyle and love).
Note: No rumors have surfaced yet about Aniston's reaction to Pitt's motorcycle accident, and no allegations have been made yet that Aniston will be meeting Brad at any time during his present travels.
Regarding shopping for a new bike while overseas, Pitt says, "I will definitely be looking at motorcycles," he said. "You've got some of the best builders right here."
