Robert Pattinson of Twilight.

According to Ace Showbiz, Twilight star Robert Pattinson would like to make an indie music album. Without the help of a record company.

Pattinson can sing, he's responsible for two songs for Twilight. However, he's never recorded anything because he was afraid it would look to fans like he is just trying to cash in.

Supposedly, Pattinson's been saying music is his back-up plan if acting doesn't work out. I think the acting is working out though!

I don't think Pattinson should worry about it looking like a cash-in if he wants to make music. Fans won't pretend he's good if he isn't. There have been lots of people in the spotlight who have tried to become rockstars  and we don't pay any attention to their music if they're bad. I'm thinking of Kevin Federline of course.

The Ace Showbiz article is just more proof that secretly everyone, no matter how famous they are, really wishes they were a rockstar.
