Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn

There are many opportunities for field trips in the Greater Atlanta Area.  The Yellow River Game Ranch is one of those venues. 

The Yellow River Game Ranch is located at 4525 Highway 78 in Lilburn GA, a stone's throw from Stone Mountain.  The game ranch is on 24 wooded acres where you can encounter over six hundred highly sociable birds and animals indigenous to the state of Georgia. White-tailed deer, bunnies, buffalo, sheep, kid goats, black bears and a bevy of new-born animals are waiting to be fed, admired and petted on a "nose-to-nose" basis. We specialize in "people-friendly" wildlife.

The game ranch survived the recent GA floods with little damage and is open to the public even as they build the coyotes new homes. 

The ranch is open 9:30 till 6, the last visitors being let in at 5. Hours may vary based on time of year and conditions, so check the schedule before making plans.

The cost of admission is $7.00 for kids aged 2-11 and $8.00 for anyone over 12.  Children under 2 are free.  You can arrange for special group rates by calling 770-972-6643.  Don't forget to check the Event Calendar for special events.  (December 21 is $1.00 day where you can "pay a buck to see a buck".
