Grand State of Maine, proudly we sing,
To tell your glories to the land, To shout your praises till the echoes ring,
Should fate unkind send us to roam,
The scent of the fragrent pines, the tang of the salty sea will call us home.
Oh, Pine Tree State,
Your woods, fields and hills,
Your lakes, streams and rock bound coast
Will ever fill our hearts with thrills,
And tho' we seek far and wide
Our search will be in vain,
To find a fairer spot on earth
Than Maine, Maine, Maine!

What an exciting opportunity! Sharing with you places and sights of the State of Maine.
Except for eight years of school and four years working in Virginia, my life has been spent in Maine. Every year we visit a little bit more of this vast, beautiful State, and we have barely scratched the surface.
Now I have the opportunity to share with you some of the sights, sounds and places of Maine that make it such a grand place to work, live and visit. (Did I mention that during the 12 years we lived "away" we came home every year for a visit?)
What do you want to hear about or see? Whether you live in Maine, visit now or then, or are looking forward to traveling here, I would love to hear from you. Tell me what YOU like about Maine, your favorite places to visit, experiences when growing up, memorable people and other aspects of living or traveling in Maine. (Be explicit-where, when, etc.)
As we go along, I will share tidbits about myself, my family and memories as well as pictures and stories of my home State.
