Boxing returns to Twin River Event Center Nov. 20th

Mark your calenders because professional boxing will be returning to the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island on Friday, November 20th. By the fight poster above you can see that the Main Event of the evening will feature EBA and New England middleweight champion "Irish" Joey McCreedy (11-3-1, 6 KO's). The fight will be McCreedy's first since his impressive first round TKO victory over Eddie Caminero on September 4th at Twin River.

For those who have yet to see McCreedy in action he is worth the price of admission alone. McCreedy is from nearby Lowell, Massachusetts and always has a very large fan contingent on hand to support him. Most of the people who come from Lowell to support the EBA and New England middleweight champion don black and green Team McCreedy t-shirts and wave Irish flags from the bleachers. There is a very festive atmosphere in the building whenever McCreedy steps into the ring and November 20th will be no different. If you've been waiting for a reason to head to Twin River to experience a CES Boxing show for the first time, you will not find a better reason then Joey McCreedy.

While the full card -- or any of the card for that matter -- has yet to be announced it seems as if former URI Ram football player and Providence native Vladine Biosse will also be in action on November 20th. As if McCreedy wasn't enough to draw you to the arena, Biosse is one of the bright up and coming stars in the super middleweight division. Currently undefeated, and coming off his best challange as a professional Biosse continues to impress everyone with how much he improves each time he steps into the ring.

I will have much more information on the November 20th Classic Entertainment & Sports Inc. event at the Twin River Event Center as the date draws near so stay tuned.
