The celebration of the Maryland Council of Humanities 'One Book, One Maryland' continues with the following events.

The Maryland Humanities Council is putting together a Civil Rights Timeline and they want stories from the public to bring the timeline to life. Click on this link to get the information that you need if you are interested in sharing your story.

Music of the Movement: a Sustaining Voice, will offer a vocal performance celebrating the Dr. King initiative, on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Montgomery College-Takoma Park, 7995 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring 20910. For more information click on this link.
