It may be a haul, but it's worth trucking over to the Montague Bookmill in Montague, Mass. for some incredible music in a very intimate space. The Bookmill has been presenting wonderfully eclectic musicians and continues that tradition tonight with Cabinet of National Curiosities. Primarily the vehicle of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jasmine Dreame Wagner, Cabinet of National Curiosities is like a treasure box of dream fevers. Over some folk strumming, Wagner's hushed vocals mix with tweeting birds, glockenspiel, atmospheric keyboards and light percussion to create an airy space for the listener to settle into. Tonight's performance starts at 8 p.m.

On a completely different head; British drone-masters, F*ck Buttons are at Iron Horse Music Hall, November 1 for their only New England-area appearance. Like the godfathers of the genre, Suicide, the duo create a stew of ambient electro-clash, dubbed "drone" for obvious reasons. You won't find their music catchy or pop-oriented, but you might find it conducive to your post- Halloween debauch hangover. Opening for F*ck Buttons are Brooklyn-based noisesters, Growing. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
