No Zoo Doo until Fall this year

The Woodland Park Zoo announced they are canceling this year’s Zoo Doo compost offerings. An unacceptable level of clopyralid herbicide has been detected. While the level isn’t considered dangerous to animals, it could be to gardens.

The Zoo has located, and removed, the herbicide’s source which will allow the much sought after fertilizer will be available in bulk quantities this Fall.

Zoo Doo is available year-round in smaller amounts from the ZooStore. It is available in two sizes: 1 pint for $4.95 and 2 gallon buckets for $12.95.
