Aliens in the Attic, a Mr. E Movie Review

Director John Schultz's Aliens in the Attic is a family, sci-fi, adventure that will keep the whole family entertained right from beginning and all the way through to end.
Tom Pearson, played by Carter Jenkins, is a smart kid whose tired of being so smart so he tanks his grades. In his parents eyes he's over shadowed by his older sister Bethany, played by Ashley Tisdale. Boy crazy Bethany is preoccupied with her new jerk of a boyfriend Ricky, played by Robert Hoffman. But, when they, along with their little sister Hannah, played by Ashley Boettcher, have to go on a family summer vacation. It's going to be bonding time or bust.
At the rental house on the lake they are joined by their Nana Rose, played by Doris Roberts, their Uncle Nathan, played by Andy Richter, and their three cousins. Jake, played by Austin Butler, and his twin little brothers Art and Lee, played by Henri and Regan Young.
Out of nowhere, Bethany's boyfriend Ricky shows up with a fake smile and ulterior motives.
Just as everyone is settling in, the satellite television goes out and Tom and Ricky go up to fix it. On the roof they find that the dish has been destroyed by little aliens.
Goofy aliens with the ability to control humans with remote controls and a plan to take over the Earth.
The young crew of cousins have to stop the aliens before they enslave the grown ups and take over the world.
This ensemble cast that's joined by Saturday Night Live alumni, Kevin Nealon and Tim Meadows, worked together to perfectly. I loved Doris Roberts character especially when she was taken over by alien technology and controlled to Matrix-style fight the alien controlled Ricky.
Aliens in the Attic is a definite recommend to anyone with or without kids looking for an hour and a half a good fun. An exciting story, that's perfectly paced, and funny!
