What age did these celebrities lose their virginity? How young is too young for teen sex?

Thanks to the recent arrest and jailing of famous movie director Roman Polanski in Switzerland for fleeing the United States after pleading guilty to drugging and having sex with a teenage girl, talk about what age is normal to lose your virginity has come up in households all across America.

The young lady in question was age 13 at the time she and Polanski had sex.

The following list of celebrities have openly come out and admitted how old they were when they first had sex. 

Keep in mind, each human individual is unique and matures at different ages. Having sex at a young age, as an older teen, in your twenties in college, waiting until marriage, or celibacy are all choices that deserve respect -- as sexual activity is personal in nature.

If you are a parent wondering what advice to give your teenage, encourage them to act responsibly. If you are a teen wondering when and if the magic moment will ever happen -- don't hurry. If you are an adult who has never found that special someone -- don't despair. Sex, although a powerful force in nature, is not everything.

That's the beauty of being human and learning about sex as you mature -- and why you really ought to be careful about who you tell.
