Kourtney Kardashian statement causes concern (ap)
Many may wonder why any of us even know who the Kardasian family is. And yet, because they are plastered all over the net, magazines and even TV, we do.
Sadly young girls may look up to the Kardasian sister’s even after their behavior has their parents cringing.
And now, thanks to the Kourtney Kardasian, we parents have a reason to be even more concerned.
Kourtney, 30, has announced she is pregnant with her first child. At first she wouldn’t reveal who the baby’s daddy was as she was planning to spill it on her new reality series. As a parent one has to question which is worse, the fact there is a question as to whom the father is or that such a thing would be considered teaser worthy.
But, in the end the information was spilled on the Today show and not Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami as planned.
Then Kourtney spills even more information that the baby was conceived because she forgot to take her pill and apparently the guy forgot to wear a condom as well! Showing her intelligence, Kardasian goes on tells Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show and admits:
This probably sounds so dumb, but there's so many times I'll forget to take my pill and I don't think it's that big of a deal.
It's just so stupid."
You think? And the great thing is her lack of responsibly and her need to spill private information publically is going to be fully covered in her new reality series. What a wonderful little journal for the baby to look at when it is older!
Unsafe, careless sex is not something to trivialize and when people treat it that way, it sends a very dangerous message. Parents need to stay on top of these type of stupid statements (that their teens will see and read) and use them to discuss sex, responsibility and even privacy issues.
Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami premiers Sunday night at 10pm on E! just in case you want to make sure all your TV’s are turned to something else (or off) at that time.
