This is a great time to print out some free Fourth of July coloring pages. Parents can use the pictures as an easy way to bring up what Independence Day is and why we celebrate it.
They are also nice to keep in Mom’s bag (with an 8 pack of crayons) to bring out while waiting for the food at a restaurant or even for a sibling to complete a lesson or practice. Anytime there’s a wait, coloring sheets can be a blessing!
Print First and Then Color
1.) Moms who think
28 Fourth of July pages with a nice variety of levels – nice big easy ones for younger kids and more details for the older ones. What I especially like about these pages is that they are print free while many of the others will have their website or other info on the sheet – they just contain the picture.
2.) Preschool coloring book
38 pictures with multiple flags choices. Don’t be fooled by the name, many of the pages contain too much detail for little ones to be able to stay inside the lines.
3.) MES-english
28 fun Fourth of July coloring pages from Betsy Ross to fireworks and even a Liberty Bell.
4.) DLTK
12 pictures, all with the option of printing them in color or in B&W so the kids can color them on their own.
5.) Coloringws
11 Fourth of July pictures with fireworks, eagles and flags
Color Online and Then Print
Coloring online is great as you never go out of the lines! This is one of my favorite sites as there are always ones that also appeal to older kids with many that could be used for school projects. There are 38 pages of revolutionary war coloring pages and 11 of symbols of the US.
