Pixar's UP

Colby Curtin knew she was dying from terminal vascular cancer and had one wish: to stay alive long enough to see the Pixar movie UP. But sadly, before she could see it, she became too ill to be able go to a movie theater.

A family member “guessed” a name of an employee to get past the automated Pixar lines and explained Colby’s story when they answered the line.

Pixar immediately flew out an employee with a DVD (it is only in theaters) toys from the movie and posters to Colby’s home.

Since Colby couldn't watch (the pain kept her eyes closed), her Mom gave her a play-by-play of the film.

Colby’s parents were with the ten year old when she passed on, less than 8 hours after watching the film.
