High School Musical 3: Senior Year
Until I had children, I would listen to whatever music I wanted: as loud as I wanted to. After I had children, everything changed. Suddenly my car CD’s included the likes of Raffi and Alvin and the Chipmunks. As one of the kids would grow into school age, the “kid CD’s” would be passed down and they would grow into new music: especially soundtracks from their favorite movies and TV shows. I have heard these songs over and over (and over) again and so I had to laugh when I saw the listing of the top 20 selling albums of 2008. There amongst AC/DC and Metallica were the Jonas Brothers and the soundtracks from "High School Musical 3: Senior Year” and "Camp Rock.” I guess I was just one of many parents and grandparents (or pre-teens using their allowances) buying CD’s this year.
