400 stations dropping analog
 

 

 Congress has extended the deadline for the ending of analog TV broadcasts stations to June 12th. While most major are adhering, more than 400 TV stations are shutting theirs down today. Many of them are saying the plans were already made and the cost would be too high to change the date. These stations will join the 191 full-power stations that have previously turned off analog.

List of TV stations dropping analog today in Washington State:

Seattle-Tacoma:
 KWPX (Ion), KBCB, KVOS-TV

Spokane:
KHQ-TV (NBC), KSPS-TV (PBS), KXLY-TV (ABC)

Yakima-Pasco-Richland Kennewick:
 KVEW (ABC), KNDU (NBC), KTNW (PBS), KAPP (ABC), KNDO (NBC)
