The fifth annual Anti Pop festival kicks off Wednesday November 11 in downtown Orlando and surrounding areas.
As in the past, this year’s festival will feature a mix of local, regional, and national acts from a variety of genres including rock, punk, indie, hip-hop, electro, and blues. There are 150 bands scheduled to perform.
The festival’s opening party will be held at The Gibson Showroom downtown on Wednesday. There will be shows held at Will's Pub, Firestone, Plaza Theater, AKA Lounge, BackBooth, Peacock Room, Tanqueray's, 57 West, Park Avenue CDs, Central Station Rock Bar, BBQ Bar, and Uncle Lou's during the festival, with the closing ceremony and last show taking place at Stardust Coffee parking lot on Sunday November 14.
There are two types of tickets available one is the $25 festival pass that gets you into all Anti Pop events, or individual show tickets, which can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at Park Ave CDs. More information is available on the tickets page.
With music from every genre and inexpensive tickets available it is a perfect opportunity to get out and support some very talented indie artists.
