Brian Stanley is an author and Japanese-culture-addict living in Roanoke, Virginia. He writes, illustrates, and composes music for a novel series called Tasakeru. The first book in the series, Without a Name, won his college's Clyde Jones Award for Creative Writing Fiction in 2009. He has previously worked as a research assistant, an animal shelter volunteer, and a teen correspondent for the Durham (NC) Herald-Sun. He welcomes comments via email here.
