A reader shared this video with me, and Modern Love is now passing on the message to you. It is of a recent assembly at Rutgers University. A young collegiate took it upon herself to form a counter protest called, “Rutgers United Against Hate,’ when she learned that the virulently anti-gay, anti-Semitic Westboro Baptist Church was planning on demonstrating on campus a week ago. She and her friends give new meaning to the phrase, student body of love, and show that maybe Mr. Swift was too pessimistic after all…
