The injuries continue to mount for the San Jose Sharks as they host the Los Angeles Kings.

The good news for the Sharks is that Joe Pavelski and Torrey Mitchell were back at practice. Neither will play against the Kings and it is not known when they will return.

Pavelski has been out with a broken foot. Mitchell has not played this season due to tendinitis in his knee.

Devin Setoguchi will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed lower-body injury. Sharks coach Todd McLellan described the injury as “muscular” in nature.

Ryan Vesce who has been a great surprise since being called up is also out for a second straight game with an undisclosed lower body injury.

Brad Staubitz, Jamie McGinn and Logan Couture will all be skating for the Sharks against the Kings.

Despite the injuries, the Sharks return home from a 6-game road trip with a 7-4-1 record and 15 points. That places them in second place in the Pacific behind the reborn Kings and 5th in the Western Conference.
