Cable network A&E has announced a Dec. 13 premier of their The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty mini-series. The six-episode program focuses on brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon as they prepare to reunite for a concert tour and cope with the death of their brother, Michael Jackson.
"This deeply intimate portrait will provide viewers with a raw and honest look inside a musical dynasty," said A&E and Bio Channel VP Robert Sharenow in a statement.
Footage will also include the brothers recording vocals for a song on the Michael Jackson’s This Is It soundtrack.
A&E originally announced The Jacksons documentary special in May, before Michael Jackson's June 25 death. Both the network and Katherine Jackson, the legal guardian of Michael's children, deny reports that Paris, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket) appear in the special.
