eBay today launched a dgital magazine called The Inside Source. Thr press release as released by Business Wire states:

New Digital Magazine Illuminates Consumer Trends, Pop Culture Obsessions and
Shopping Stories in a Uniquely eBay Way
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
eBay, the world`s largest online marketplace, today announced the launch of The
Inside Source (theinsidesource.com), a new digital magazine for inspired
shoppers featuring insights and stories based on what more than 89 million
active users are searching for, buying and selling on eBay. The Inside Source
will offer fresh daily content with original articles, analysis and opinions
from journalists as well as eBay community contributors.

"Imagine that every day, every person in the United States tells eBay what they
want," said Alan Marks, Senior Vice President of Global Communications for eBay.
"That`s the power of how many searches occur on eBay every day. Now add insights
gleaned from almost 200 million live product listings, the stories of more than
25 million sellers and the several million purchases people make each day on
eBay, and you get The Inside Source - a perspective on shopping trends, pop
culture obsessions and the stuff people love, that only eBay can offer."

While presented by eBay, The Inside Source editorial content will be directed
and managed by an accomplished editorial team, led by Meredith Barnett,
previously Director of Digital Media for Lifetime Digital. Editorial content
will cover a variety of lifestyle topics, including fashion, technology,
automotive, home and garden, pop culture and sustainability.

Barnett brings strong editorial, digital and e-commerce experience to her role
as Managing Editor of The Inside Source. At Lifetime Digital, Barnett oversaw
non-programming-related content for myLifetime.com, a site focused on women`s
entertainment, escape and play. Barnett is a Founder of StoreAdore.com, a
Web-based guide to the best boutique shopping around the country and online,
featuring a regularly updated blog and a searchable database of original
editorial profiles of more than 3,000 stores. Her editorial experience also
includes a three-year stint at Lucky and regular contributions to publications
including PARADE and The Huffington Post. She earned her BA from Brown
University and an MBA from Harvard.

experience to The Inside Source," added Marks. "Combining Meredith`s editorial

As an avid collector and trend-follower, Barnett has been actively using eBay to
find not only rare vintage brands but also unique items from established
designers. "My latest fashion fixation is oversized bib-style necklaces that can
turn a plain T-shirt into a party outfit," Barnett noted. "But I am also
tracking antique salt bowls for my extensive collection."

In addition to original content, The Inside Source will also feature sections
that will provide a snapshot of real time eBay Marketplace activity, including
most-watched merchandise and most searched terms. Early contributors include
writers and editors who have worked at and contributed to Lucky, W, Allure,
Daily Candy, and The New Yorker.

"The Inside Source content will reflect what inspires us on eBay, from a profile
of an art dealer discovering museum-quality pieces to a breakdown of the hottest
trends in handbags," noted Barnett. "There`s such a diverse array of stories. We

Readers will have the opportunity to comment on and share content through
familiar platforms such as Facebook Connect, as well as submit feedback and
story ideas. The Inside Source will also offer a weekly e-mail subscription that
will provide a recap of the week`s top stories.
