Scott Yates is a Colorado native who worked in journalism in Durango, Loveland, Boulder, New York City and Denver before starting MyTrafficNews, hailed as the funniest traffic email alert in Denver. (It was, of course, the only one.) He's currently a consultant specializing in the intersection of technology and public affairs. He lives in Denver with his wife and son.
