The Italian police that conducted the initial questioning of Amanda Knox and Raphael Sollecito after Meredith Kercher's murder, testified in court on Friday.

The officers testified that Sollecito had a long knife in his pocket while he was being questioned and that Knox was repeatedly hitting her head with her hands.

Sollecito reportedly explained the large knife by saying that he had an affinity for them.  Not exactly the kind of thing you want made public when you're being tried for murdering someone with a knife.

The revelation on Knox's behavior seems pretty much consistent with everything that witnesses have testified about so far concerning her personality.  For the woman who was said to be prone to breaking out into song or yoga in the middle of a conversation, hitting herself in front of police doesn't seem, so out of whack.

Still not hearing anything particularly damning coming out of the trial.  So far it's been pretty much repeated information and claims about Knox's strange ways.

We'll let you know if anything else pops up.
