That's right, folks.  The former UW honor-student, current violent, sadistic murder suspect has been named Italy's "Woman of the year."

Granted it was an internet-and-television poll in which she narrowly beat out Sarah Palin and finished just behind Barrack Obama in another, but the tabloid queen proves my earlier prediction that her name is going nowhere fast.

I would write a little background on the case, but if you're unfamiliar with the case, you're probably also unfamiliar with the internet.

The story on the poll does give a new nickname to the much-maligned Knox: "angel-face."

Miss Knox has appeared on the covers of Italian magazines and in countless newspaper stories, her blonde hair, fresh complexion and good looks earning her the name "angel-face" from the Italian media.

Knox's trial is set to begin soon, as the jury has been selected.  Once it does, you can catch all updates right here, or over at www.seattlecrimeblog.com/.
