The eBay auction featuring Seattle's very own high-tech toilet busts is nearing an end.
The same toilets the city was once asking $89,000 for and originally paid $4 million for, are now looking like they won't pool $10 k between them all.
In case you're wondering, the Elliot Bay Waterfront toilet is the top money catcher as of today with a high-bid of $1,875. Three others have high bids between $1,300 and $1.350. The dissapointment of the group? That would be the Pike Place Market model, which, if sold right now, would only fetch a dissapointing $898.88, which wouldn't be that much more than a used Port-o-John. Maybe that model is suffering because it had more hookers and drug dealers in it then the others...or maybe it's suffering because it had less, who knows.
There's even free shipping to any worldwide location. That is one hell of a deal. Let's hope the winners all live in Australia.
There's still time left to bid on the toilets with just over one day left until the auction closes. Search "toilet seattle" on the eBay sight to find the items.
