Those of you who remember The Magic of Disney Animation attraction at the Disney/MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida will probably get a kick out of this video (despite the lousy quality).
The attraction itself was a peek behind the scenes at a working animation studio. Theme park guests could watch artists at work through enormous windows. And the glass wasn't one-way -- the animators could see the guests just as well as the guests could see the animators.
Over the course of fifteen years, Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida contributed to films like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. They produced Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear all on their own.
The video embedded below was shot by a guest with a camcorder. While it's far from a pristine copy, it's probably the closest thing we can get now that the attraction is no longer there. (Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida closed its doors in 2004.)
