Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 14th! The local chapter of the National Space Society will sponsor their third annual Colorado Space Day at the University of Denver's historic Chamberlin Observatory. This event runs from 9:30 until 5:00pm.
Previous Space Day events have attracted speakers from the local science and engineering communities as well as several NASA astronauts. The agenda this year is still a work in progress, but expect another all-star lineup of fascinating topics. Come one, come all, no space suits or Tang required...
As of November 3, here's the list of confirmed speakers and topics:
Note that I'm speaking at 1:00 about Martian ice, a way-cool topic (no pun intended)... so here's your chance to stump your favorite Examiner with some good questions in person. One lucky person can also win a copy of my science fiction novel, Shadows of Medusa.
