Police suspect that a man found dead and burned in a Southwest side apartment may have been the victim of foul play.

67 year old William Hallin, of the 6100 block of South Kenneth Avenue, was found dead on Friday at about 6PM in a basement apartment on the 5000 block of South Talman Avenue.  An autopsy is expected to be completed today, and police are investigating this as a possible homicide.  A woman who lives next door reportedly said she saw police take 3 individuals away in a squad car, and police confirmed that they were questioning 3 residents of the building.
