A former Chicago cop has been sentenced to 19 years and 4 months in prison for corruption.

Mahmoud "Mike" Shamahs was convicted last year of multiple robberies in the Morgan Park district with a partner of his.  Shamahs was investigated by the FBI, and then caught as part of a sting operation, where he thought he stealing thousands of dollars of drug money.  He was also convicted of stealing money during traffic stops, arrests, and searches which he performed wile serving as a tactical officer in Chicago.
