A 17 year old who allegedly robbed a Hinsdale Dunkin' Donuts at gunpoint felt remorseful for his crime, and returned to apologize and give back the money. He has since been arrested for the robbery.

Prosecutors say that Alex Holmes, a 17 year old from the 500 block of Mills Street in Hinsdale, entered the Dunkin' Donuts at about 3:00AM on Tuesday, armed with a realistic looking BB gun, and stole $167.  The next day, he allegedly returned to the store, at which point he confessed, apologized, returned the money, and then left.  Both of Holmes' alleged appearances in the Dunkin Donuts were caught on video, and police arrested Holmes after seeing him while he was driving.  Holmes has been charged with aggravated robbery, and his bail was set at $75,000 today.
