A Flossmoor Kindergartener suffered injuries, including a broken leg, in a hit-and-run crash yesterday.

Police and individuals who witnessed the crash said that a silver 4-door Chrysler struck the child in a crosswalk, located at the intersection of Western Avenue and Vardon Lane. The driver of the car briefly stopped after hitting the child, then speed away. The young child suffered a broken leg and other injuries, but is expected to recover.
