Yesterday, Hannah Montana's Emily Osment showed herself to be a true professional, performing her single All the Way Up while suffering from laryngitis.
Disney Channel's Emily Osment had appeared on The View to discuss school, music, and future plans. She does not know how many more seasons Hannah Montana will remain on the air, though she is focusing on music and college plans.
Although her TV character Lilly is tone-deaf, Emily Osment can actually sing in real life. Yesterday, she was clearly affected by the laryngitis but managed to turn in a strong performance because her vocal coach had trained her to sing without using her vocal chords.
As Emily Osment remarked in her exit interview, "despite the laryngitis, I think we did an excellent job--the band and I."
