Eco-friendly toys made by a company named "Green Toys". Got Milk! Well, Green Toys does. They make all of their toys from recycled milk containers. The same ones you and I drink our milk out of. When we throw our container away in the recycling bin, it gets sorted out and sent to Green Toys. Next, the milk containers are reprocessed into super clean fresh plastic. The material is called high-density polyethylene (or HDPE). This material is considered one of the safest, cleanest plastics around.

All of the work to recycle the plastic, make it into toys, package and ship it is done in California, dramatically cutting down green house gases caused by shipping from another country. Transportation is one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gasses.

Green Toys also does minimal packaging with all recycled materials. No awful plastic ties that take forever to disconnect, so you can actually give your child the toy.

Purchase Green Toys.

Besides all of the good Green Toys is doing for the environment, they are also creating good quality imaginative toys. They have a dump truck and a recycling truck that are easy to grasp and move around. They have cooking, tea, and serving sets that are all dishwasher safe. For outdoor play, there is a play sand set, rope ropes (with 100% cotton), and an ecosaucer. There is an indoor gardening set. Finally, there is a tool set with 15 pieces.

If you are looking for quality, open-ended imaginative toys that are good for the environment, you need to go no further than Green Toys.
