Fremont Oktoberfest
Liederhosen not required. But you may want to bring your chainsaw for the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving. Or throw on your running shoes for the Brew Ha Ha. If you're a wee bit out of shape, no worries. You can join the Beer Belly Division! Bring the kids...there's plenty of fun for them too. Kiddies can belly up the bar at their own Root Beer Garden!
For the adults, the Microbrew Garden features 35 breweries, many tapping their fall line up. Scanning the preview list of pours, Laughing Buddah caught my eye. They'll be pouring a Ginger Pale Ale with ginger, galangal and Mandarin orange peel. And their Purple Yam Porter piqued my interest. This weekend, line up your designated driver...and get yourself Fremont!
