Skillet Street Food's 1 Year Anniversary Picnic

The menu is TBD, but who cares? Whatever these guys whip up will be absolutely fab!  With any luck, they're busy making vats of their fabulous bacon jam...mmm....(For more on Skillet, click here.)

Seattle Fire Department Pig Roast

This Saturday, Seattle Fire Department's throwing two 120-pound pigs on the fire...to raise funds for Seattle's Bravest Chairity.  Live music, pork and all the fixin's for just $15.

What do you get when you take the city's finest Chefs...and partner them with local farmers?   Incredible Feast!

This is the event I look forward to all summer...It's a family affair with games, festivities for the kiddies, prizes, music, wine and beer...plus some fabulous food, naturally. 

Here's a teaser from this year's menu:  Roasted Pig and Corn, Mussels with Mashed Canneli Beans, Angus Beef Sliders, Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho, Grilled Tuna Salad, Potato Onion Tortillas, Crepes with Duck Confi, Grilled Coho Salmon, and Grilled Peach Salad with Fresh Goat Cheese.
