Molly Moon's in Wallingford

Who knew Seattleites had such big love for ice cream?
At a recent party, the room was buzzing..."Have you tried the salted caramel?"  "The chocolate is heavenly!" "Cardamom sends me into orbit!"

In the few short months since they've been open, Molly Moon's Ice Cream has become a more than minor obsession....
When I bumped into a friend who lives in Wallingford..and asked if she'd been, her emphatic reply went something like this: "Are you kidding?!  Have you seen the lines?"
Like trying to gain access to a hot new night club...or grabbing a coveted seat at an underground restaurant, she lamented, "I can't get in!"
Right then and there I knew it had to be good stuff.  In our drive-through-gotta-have-it now culture, anything worth waiting in line for must be good!
Saturday. 6:48 pm.  I walked right in...thinking,
"Line?  What line????"

Minutes after I arrived, the place was packed!

I went with chef's choice....Scout Mint ice cream with a river of warm
Chocolate Sauce.  Mmmm....

Note: Cup and spoon are both biodegradable (made out of corn.)

Saturday night at Molly Moon's.  Yes, some things really are worth the wait!
