Coming off the heels of a Villa-Victoria tamale run, a hot tip and some great company lead me to Jumbo Chinese Restaurant.  Just off Rainier Avenue, this spot reminds me of a repurposed big box store, with a dash of Asian Mafia.   I half-expected a Godfather-esque soundtrack, followed by commanding thugs bounding through the door.  This is one of those spots where more than a few things leave me scratching my head, but seized by the moment, I raised my chopsticks and thought, "Forgeddaboutit".

If you're on the hunt for dim sum, Jumbo is the place to go.  Want to gather 20 friends for some delicious bites...and you don't want to fight for parking?  Bingo!  This ghost-of-a-big-box-store has ample parking.

Jumbo Chinese Restaurant Boss.  What?!  I don't get it either, but for great dim sum, who cares?

I joined bloggers Catherine Reynolds and Dawn & Eric Wright for lunch, and a never ending parade of carts tempted us with small plates of succulence.

The handmade pot stickers are so thin you can see right through them!  And get a look at that pleating.  Amazing.

Delicate pieces, packed with flavor...when I get a craving for dim sum, Jumbo's got my vote!
